FAQ

Just in Case You Missed Anything.

What exams do you prepare students for?

We offer preparation courses for French proficiency exams, including DELF (A1 to B2) and TEF-TCF Canada exams. Additionally, we provide courses for English proficiency exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, and CELPIP.

What is A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2 for French?

A1 to C2 are levels of French proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR):

  • A1: Beginner – Can understand and use basic phrases.
  • A2: Elementary – Can communicate in simple tasks.
  • B1: Intermediate – Can deal with everyday situations and describe experiences.
  • B2: Upper Intermediate – Can interact with fluency on a wide range of topics.
  • C1: Advanced – Can use the language flexibly and effectively for professional purposes.
  • C2: Proficient – Can express themselves with ease in complex situations, near-native fluency.
How long does it take to learn French at each level?

The duration varies depending on the student’s learning pace and dedication. However, each French level from A1 to B2 generally takes about 8 to 12 weeks to complete if you enrol in our course. Consistent practice and engaging in additional exercises outside class can also speed up progress.

How do I know which French level to enrol in?

To help you enrol in the right course, we offer a “French Language Evaluation” to assess your current knowledge of French. Based on the results, we’ll recommend the level that suits your needs, whether you’re a beginner or looking to advance your proficiency. To register for the evaluation, simply fill out the form on our contact us page.

What level of French is required for PR?

The French level required for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) is generally CLB 7, which is equivalent to B2 level on the CEFR scale. This means having an upper-intermediate level of French in listening, speaking, reading, and writing to be eligible and get maximum points under the Express Entry system.
